Seizure letter vs Controlled Delivery

Everyone I’ve ever known that had reasonable orders grabbed got seizure letters except a few who had large orders and then they got controlled deliveries and all those people got from the old Chinese IP. I ask this bc I was talking about the Nelissa Bumstead thing and I know the report is out there somewhere but didn’t she have a rather small amount come in and if so why controlled delivery vs seizure letter, snitching or the game of those involved or both? Just wondering. I got my first letter 25 years ago when I ordered a bunch of dbol from somebody on GetBig before I really knew what was really up but it was 1,000 dbol. It asked if I wanted to claim it, I was so freaked out. I showed a buddy and he laughed went in the other room and pulled out a stack of them. I just wondered what y’all thought, I know the topic has been kind of hammered but I don’t think this aspect of it has been really discussed.

I wondered the same thing about the Bumstead situation. I’m pretty confident they aren’t dealers lol. So the amount shouldn’t have been that significant. But at the same time she could have been sending enough shit for herself, Chris, Ian and whoever else is part of that crew and it could have amounted to a decent amount of gear. Either that or they recognized the last name and wanted to make an example out of them.

The person that sent the package to Bumstead is from a well known family that has a criminal history in Canada and has been in a lot of trouble. One theory is that is why the package got seized and then the controlled delivery because customs recognize the senders name and possibly the receivers name. They should have used different names!

I have endured both, multiple seizure letters back in day, and yes one was an IP CHINA PACK (seizure). CD however will ruin your life

Yea this makes sense. I looked up the amount of gear it wasn’t to significant. They might have popped bumstead to get to the guy in Canada and hope she would flip

Googled it to see who she is and the case, where did it say it wasn't a large amount? From what I read looked like powders indicating manufacturing aka a large amount.

Unsure why someone with money and connections and so many options locally would import to save a buck unless...

They do a CD normally after doing a monitor of checking and letting it pass thru. On occasion if large enough yes they can do a CD but those are rare and most of the time after multiple LL’s.
I am thinking someone had an issue with her and tipped of the fun breakers.
Had quite a few LL’s not related to here at all for small amounts.
It takes a lot of money and resources for the people to go thru with one.
Likely her name, the senders history, and a grudge. Just my .02

Sad thing is if she had just not signed and rejected it, bodybuilder 101, she’d be free of it all and yea they could gone local. As to powders, maybe they were making shit, I never talked to Chris but Ian isn’t stupid and was raking cash in and in Florida where it’s ped central so aside from worrying about reliable pharma grade GH I don’t see the need. I will say word around the water cooler is it’s not just them, we’ll the CD yea, but in the last year or so letters have been more common. I got some we’ll known folks in North Texas gotten just a few in their 20-30 year careers all got letter(s) this last year.

A buddy of mine had a CD years ago on an IP china pack. It was late. He kept calling and checking on it. Sure enough they brought it. It came with a flashing device inside (he smashed and had to pay for)
This was a small order maybe enough for him and a few friends.
He never made another order after that.
Luckily he had a stellar military back ground and got off easy.

Very good point here. WTH is a man like Bumstead doing getting deliveries to a family member? I'd bet my last dollar that people would be lining up to let him use their addy if only for a little face time with the champ/cycle advice/food advice/etc.

As for dealing with a controlled delivery, I "knew a guy who knew a guy" who told me if you're ever suspicous about a delivery (got delayed for 3 days in customs but still came, etc). Immediately write "return to sender" on the pack and leave it by your front door for a week. When it comes time to open it, take it for a drive 20-30 min from where you live, open and transfer contents to 2nd vehicle headed to a 2nd location and you ditch the packaging in a trash can. This way you always have plausible deniability, 1st you were going to return it, then when you opened it you saw it was illegal and trashed it. Someone stole it from the trash can after that.
There may be a better way to handle it but that's what I was told.

Agree. I always heard a UPS box was a good idea not sure if it's true. And just can't see why anyone would get something imported when it is so easy to access locally delivered, unless, it was powders. But the search I did multiple articles states she had powder on her hands when they came in

Yea IP got a lot of people popped and if he verbally called for a package I’d say that’s as good as a signature. You can have a decorated career and get time. Trust me.

The powder on her hands was put in the package by LE to show who opened the package, presumably bc they thought it was for Ian or Chris and had she signed and they opened then they’d have gotten the opener, think GSR for a CD. It’s just more evidence.

Speaking of things like this… do you think they would ever do a CD for a package that only had BP meds in it or would it simply be a letter?

Seems like it would be kinda ridiculous once it wound up in court when the judge looked at the contents of the package and says “You guys spent how much money and how many man hours for………… blood pressure medicine?????”.

Or is a drug a drug in their eyes?

I'd hate to be in jail and letting my cell mate know I'm in for a large order of Viagra getting popped by the feds. He would probably start making me hold his pocket in the yard.

I pretty sure they focus on Rec drugs only unless you are making an illegal business selling large quantities of other non-recreational drugs like BP meds. So I think its considered low priority for people ordering things like BP meds or other health maintenance type meds for themselves. I have heard of bus trips with seniors citizens going across the Canadian border to get their prescription meds at a lower price.

I know that sites like Clearsky and ADC are real popular among soccer moms and older adults getting their various meds. I’ve read Reddit forums where people like that complain about getting letters. With so many people ordering from those sites it seems like it happens a lot. You’d think if they were locking people up for black market Lipitor you’d hear a lot more about Bob the plumber getting popped.

The Consignee aka receiver is always to use their real name.
