man it was the coolest thing seeing you wrestle when i was a kid in the early 80's ... i had the rubber wrestling figure of you and always used it to kick the hulksters ass!

When I was just a kid he'd be eating the turn buckle and and spitting foam from the buckle all over with that green tongue. Wow. We really used to love that stuff!

George, I LOVED professional wrestling!

My cousin and I watched it nonstop. It kills me that a big scary looking guy like you became a teacher. I too am engaged in that profession. I teach biology, U.S. history and World geography. Everyone always asks me if I teach P.E. when I tell them what I do for a living. I'll bet you got a lot of that.

Wrestling was much better in the days when you did it. Excellent work. That clip Alieop put up, sure brought back some terrific memories for me.

Are you really from Detroit?

Yes I was brought up in the Detroit area. I taught and coached football and wrestling in Madison Heights. I now live in Cocoa Beach, Fl.

No it was Clorets breath mints. Yes my wife pat did teach at Wilkerson.

The sad news is the fact that I had to wrestle so I could afford to teach. In 1961 my first year of teaching I earned $4,300 for the year. We had two children and third one on the way.
