I met him in 97 when he was guest posing at my contest in Japan. This was after his battle with cancer. He looked phenomenal and was apparently healthy in every way. Real nice guy too.

He was staying with a friend of mine recently...heard he is doing better than he was. He said that he started training pretty hard again while there and got up to around 240 and lean.

I'm not sure if he would have been MR.O but he had great genetics and excellent potential. I loved this guy when he was in his prime. It was unfortunate that he developed his illness.

he could have been great but, there is more than physical genetics to consider.. one must be able to keep their head on straight and keep focus and not be distracted.. many of these guys were easily distracted.. chris comier comes to mind.. great physical attributes.. mentally just not in it..
