I have seen the original many times and still find it inspiring. Haven't watched the newer one as it would be a shame if it didn't live up to the original. I could add Draft Day to the list.Brian's Song. Don't know if you would consider it a sports movie, but I think it is.
It was a TV movie in the 90s - there was absolutely no reason to remake it.I have seen the original many times and still find it inspiring. Haven't watched the newer one as it would be a shame if it didn't live up to the original.

Rocky 4 - Amazing soundtrack as well.
Field of Dreams - One of those movies I will stop flipping channels and watch every time I see it.
As a golfer, Tin Cup - another Kevin Costner movie. He's a drunk golfer with Cheech Marin as his caddie. Better than Caddieshack as golf movies go.
For The Love Of The Game - Another Kevin Costner classic.
Vision Quest - I still want a peg board climbing thing like they had in the gym.
I could go on but I won't. Haha
