10 Year Old Girl Sets World Record Squat In All Ages Meet!

[Bio]

Her name is Naomi Kutin, she's 10 years old, in the 5th grade, and she competed in an all ages event! She is 4'8" and lifts in the 97lb division. She did a raw squat of 215lbs. The old record was 209lbs, set by a 44 year old European woman!!

It was impressive to see her squat over 200lbs, and the way she prepped for her lifts was awesome. Hope she keeps up her lifting...

It didn't appear her knees buckled in which would be my concern with any female technique so she must be fairly well looked after. I suppose as an ex PL I didn't see her back rounding as that severe

Wow that's incredible.....proof that its not about size , but strength. Of course size helps, but I met this one guy with larger tendons, very thick tendons, he was bulky but a lot smaller than some of the giant guys at the gym and he was a hell of a lot stronger then the rest of em. Just goes to show that genetics are a huge factor

I dont think its the parent that's pushing her. It's her decision and it's what she loves then good luck to her. No need to be close minded!
