This is one of my favorite massbuilders. I'll make a massive pot full and eat on it for numerous meals. I never counted calories or protein content, but when your massbuilding, doing so isn't quite so important. It's very low fat and low on the glycemic index, so that means it is chock full of lean protein and slow burning carbs. And its tasty as hell! it's easy to make. Just get a big pot or even a crockpot and follow the instructions on the bag of dry beans. Its what you add that makes it so awesome and great for massbuilding. Here goes....
1 package of 15 bean soup, cajun flavor!! ( in the dry bean section)
1 lg. purple onion, cut into large pieces
1 sm. jar of jalapeno peppers
2 cups of fresh spinich (hand ripped into small pieces)
1 tablespoon of minced garlic
2 lbs of diced chicken breast
For the best taste let the beans do the overnight soak. Make sure to drain that water and add fresh before you throw it all together and let it slow cook. You can add salt and/or Louisana hot sauce to your own personal preference. You'll be able to get several Jethro Bodine size bowls out of this recipe, for the massbuilders. Anyone who is counting calories can still enjoy this recipe as well because it is low fat, low glycemic, and high protein. You'll just have to tally up to calories and nutritional values. If you love it, shoot me a pm. I've got plenty more of these recipes.
