1st Cycle Noob question

Hey all,

Most threads of this nature seem to ask for training background etc so here it goes......

I am now 28, started training when I was 16, mainly for sport (rugby league) so was not just training for mass but mainly for functional strength. Made some strong gains right through till I was about 21/22, injury put me out of training and then I got lazy for while for then started back into it seriously again when I turned 23. This time was mainly training for boxing / muay thai as well as aesthetic (is that spelt right) so functional again as well as minimal fat but also didnt want to put on too much weight.

At 25 picked up a promotion at work that saw me travelling constantly and also wining and dining clients so fell out of training and eating routines and got extremely lazy and haven't done any real training since. I have stacked on close to 30kg of fat and lost heaps of strength.

Training week would typically consist of 4-5 weight sessions (free weights, compund movements and complex training) per week, 2 running sessions (sprints and interval) and/or 2-3 boxing/Thai boxing.

I've now given up my previous job and have just started to slowly get myself back into training but am getting frustrated by the slow results and the fact I am so far behind where I was. My main goal currently is to lose weight/fat. I obviously can't train anywhere near the intensity or volume I was at before and am losing motivation. I have supplemented with creatine and trib in the past (obviously protein as well but I see that more just as food than supplement) but never cycled steroids.

Hopefully that is enough background.

I am considering doing a cycle of HGH and Cyto-3 and/or clen to boost my early results. I am wondering if there is any point to it at the moment.


All thoughts will be appreciated.

I wouldn't really call that a cycle. I'm curious: what are you expecting for results? It's going to be many months, probably, before you'll see results from GH, you do realize. And clen will help you lose a few lbs, but isn't much.
 
Thanks VNV, yer, It's not too full on I guess. What I'm looking for is something that will really boost fat loss, for these first few months, without catabolising the muscle I still have left under the fat and asist with recovery.

From what I have read ephedrine would accelerate the fat loss but also eat away at remaining muscle. Winstrol would accelerate fat loss and I believe help muscle growth, however from what I have read, it is really only effective for those with minimal fat to begin with. It also isn't very good for joints and my knees are pretty ordinary from years of playing footy.

I've read about people cycling HGH & cyto-3 with Clen on a 5/2 basis for increased fat loss whilst still gaining muscle and strength. Do you think the HGH will take too long and I would be better off using clenbuterol by itself until I have reached a point where I can start building muscle again without having to really strip fat?

I think if you run HGH you need to have test with it to really get the full benefit. As long ass your eating clean and doing cardio the fat loss will come. Main thing is patience and being diligent.
 
Sorry man, current stats are 5"10, 109kg, est 30-33% fat. You want measurments??

I got down to 80 for a fight before I stopped training but was damn hard to do and I was too skinny. 85-88 Isn't too bad a weight for me @ 9%ish so got a fair way to go.was at about 92-95 and 11-12% for footy. Was good for footy but now I want more about health and looking good and think that's too bulky for me.

Personaly I would get yourself on a good diet and do cardio 5 days a week intill you get that BF around 15% Max before you atart a cycle. I think you will be much more happier with the results when you are much leaner.
 
Thanks NPCS, that makes sense and that's what I'm doing but wanted to try and accelerate that process if I can.

You don't have to hire anyone to get great results.
I'm sure Phil is a great trainer, but darn !

First of all let me assure you that gear isn’t a silver bullet. You still have to work your ass off.
As for being so far behind. Don’t worry about it.
It will happen faster than you think at your age.
Just trust me.
At 28 you don’t need gear you ain’t maxed out as of yet.
You need motivation and the only way to get it is to set solid goals for yourself . Short term and long term goals.
It all starts out with the first step.
That is the hardest part .
When you have achieved the short term goals it really motivates you and kick you into high gear.
Which makes the long term seem closer ,and they are.
You have to have a vision or it over before you even get started.
I use to cut out famous bodybuilders pictures and pin them up all over my exercise room.
I would cut their heads off and would visualize me being them someday.
Hey ! You many never have the body as some of the guys around here.
Phil being a great example , god bless him.
Nevertheless, You want to set your ultimate goal higher than you can achieve.
If you set it any lower and are doing yourself an injustice.

I hate to use this old cliché , but it works for this situation.
If you fail to plan, You plan to fail.
