Don't quite your day job, Jose broke his leg this winter, had surgery and has heavy rehab in store for him. He's a stud for sure, but he's still a 176lb. middleweight and jumping to 202 is a huge jump.

I broke 220lbs. for the first time over the weekend and have been steady above 218 for the past week now. Not the perdiest 220lbs. but it's 220
Still have the abs so I feel good about it. Not that the scale means a whole lot, but shooting for 230 and hold for 2 weeks before I bring it back down. What matters is that I'm making improvements where I need to.

Well that sucks. But over all balance is what I thought matters. Dexter Jackson & David Henry they also give up alot of weight.

Kinda like Silvo samauel winning the "under" 210 class and then winning the "over" 210 the next day

I agree with ya here, but that's unfortunately not the way this sport always goes. When was the last time Dextor or David Henry won the "O"? That's kinda the same as a 176lb. balanced physique winning the 202lb. class. You'll have guys like a Charles Dixon, Stan Mcquay, Charles Rae Arde, etc.. Tough group of guys squeezing down to the class. If they ever let Priest back, he's said he'd jump into the 202 class. See my point. Don't get me wrong, I think he has an awesome physique and wouldn't take anything away from him, just a big jump.

Agreed.

I dont think they should have a under 202 class for the O. That is like holding a 2nd super bowl or whatever....Some of the smaller shows sure....but in the end...the pinnacle event for the sport....should have ONE champion with one linup of the elite.

Kind feel that way too, but how about a short class and tall like they use too have. That would make more sense to me because its not about weight restriction. Its still about being the biggest most,symmetrical and ripped, but just at 2 heights.

agreed, going back to the short class makes much more sense than simply a designated weight... or if perhaps they did one that was almost as gay as this sounds, "athletic" type class more dedicated to symetry and small waist.. and waist/chest/arm/thigh/calf ratio or something like that
