6 months of letro, lipids are normal - Aloe vera

Hi guys,

Just thought I would share some information which has really surprised me and my coach. I am very gyno sensitive and my estrogen has a habit of shooting up very easily I had blood work done after having bad gyno and wanting to get it under control. My estradiol came back at 196 the first time round which is ridiculous. So I started letro at 1.25mg ED until after 10 weeks I retested and recorded a result <40.

During this time I was well aware of the bad effects letrozole can have on lipid profile, so I did a bit of research on google and found a study which talked about letrozole in rats and that using aloe vera helped restore normal lipid profile.

Aloe barbadensis Mill. formulation restores lipid profile to normal in a letrozole-induced polycystic ovarian syndrome rat model. - PubMed - NCBI

I am not massively clued up on the science behind any studies but read between the lines and thought I have nothing to lose so I will start using the aloe vera. My mum had been selling products through forever living which is mainly aloe vera based products - she had always said oh you should try this aloe gel, its got a whole host of health benefits.. to which I firstly thought was a load of crap. After reading the study I asked her to send me some.

**broken link removed**

I followed the instructions and used the recommended amount, when I ran out I found a aloe vera drink in the supermarket and used that instead which contained 20% aloe vera.

Online Food Shopping - ASDA Groceries

Long story short... I have run pharma letro - before anyone says was it fake. Which it wasn't as it pulled my e2 from 190+ to sub 40 in 10 weeks and then continued to use it over a 6 month period whilst on higher doses stopping 2 weeks ago as I entered a cruise dose - I tapered the letro down to 1.25mg e3d.

My bloodwork came back with HDL LDL and total all in the middle of the normal ranges.

In addition to the letro I had just come of the back of a 20 week higher dose run, nothing insane but 750mg test 750mg of either deca, eq or tren e rotated every 6 weeks. The last phase of the cycle was tren.

My diet was clean I eat the same 6 meals every day and have done for the past year. Contains a lot of healthy fats from nuts and avocado, coconut oil etc. My health supplements include curcumin, general vits and minerals, fish oil, k2, res, glut, vit c, milk thisle.

I am not sure how my levels are normal but I am going to keep doing what I am doing as it is clearly working, and thought I would share the info so any of the more scientifically minded people could chime in their thoughts or do some research.

wow thats amazing. I`m gonna read up on aloe vera juice. They sell it at walmart for cheap. It grows like a weed where I`m at

Aloe Vera has so many benefits. Just make sure you buy the "whole fillet" version. Good to hear bro. Keep it up!

When i was doing research in regards to kidney health, i found aloe to be renal toxic in legit studies.. but it is sold and marketed to sooth the kidneys..

good info though!

Good read! But I wonder how much of an effect it really had

I remeber someone telling me about aloe juice for a cleasner

how many times per day you were drinking? I have aloevera extract gel caps and taken at night it flushes me out next morning. would the extract be just as beneficial?

not trying to knock you but this thread is not conclusive at all without knowing what your HDL/LDL levels were before and how they look without letro...
will look into aloe vera though, heard lots of good stuff

I researched aloe vera after reading this thread... Ending up ordering some more for the benefit to fasting blood glucose levels than cholesterol. Hopefully it helps both.
