'98 Olympia Flex Wheeler looking small next to Ronnie and Nasser

I kinda never noticed how much smaller Wheeler was than the other guys in the 90's
Always thought he should have placed better but seeing this video i think he did get lucky w 2nd place in this show and always placed fair

Damn, even in 98 Nassar's arms look a bit "oiled". Other than that he looked great. Flex looked quite far off from his best here but that hamstring sweep and separation in the side of his thigh in the thumbnail pic (side chest pose) is insane.

Nasser got trophy and walked off stage. didnt pose w his trophy w the presenters etc. he was so pissed BUT yeah his arms looked pretty bad.
imo i dont think ANY oil was EVER in ronnie. those peaks r insane.

Ronnie looks insane in this video. Crazy size and conditioning, unreal.

Clearly not Flex’s best showing. I don’t think he consistently hit his mark. Impressive yes, especially all by his himself. In a crowd he really had to be at his best but that is true for every bodybuilder. Here, not the Flex we have come to know and love.

And then you have Ronnie who is in a class all by his lonesome. Poor Ronnie

Kevin, upon closer examination, if you look real close and not in his carefully curated poses was not as impressive as I once thought he was.

definitely not in his arms. I used to wonder if Ronnie put anything in his calves though. Other than calves, IMO probably no oil like you said.

IF Flex had the genes from the neck up (mental fortitude) that de did from the neck down (freaking darn near perfection), he'd have won 10 O's.

But you're never beating Dorian or Ronnie when you're hiding the wrappers from the burgers that you've been cheating on your diet with under the car seats...

I wonder just how deeply he regrets that crap today?
