A bad batch?

what does this mean? occasionally, i will read about a sponsor having a bad batch. its almost as if its expected or okay for this to happen. imagine if a pharm company had a bad batch of anything that went out to the public. i have read posts where the poster ended up in the ER because of a "bad batch." DAMN? REALLY? why is this happening?

I had plenty of UG gear that was just junk and that should have never been sold. Worst that comes to mind was the T400 I had once, think it was Denkall but I cant remember. I threw that shit in the trash after the first inject.

Funny that I've NEVER had an issue with ANY sponsor that I've ever used...This was before I ever became a mod anywhere and any sponsor wouldn't be able to tell the difference because of the the discreet private email I may or may not use for certain purposes.

Look at Toyota...They are obviously taking action on the few issues they've had and they're much more large/public than any sponsor, right...I think the sponsors here would do the same and some have when they needed to.

Even though a good fella can turn at any time...That's the game we play.

All current sponsors are gtg imo.

I do want to add that im not saying anything bad about our sponsers now or in the past. I am speaking generally about the brands that I used in the past many years ago: QV, Denkall, Brovel, British Dragon, EC. I dont know what the UG stuff is like these days. Its been more than 4 years since I sampled UG gear. Perhaps quality is better now? In the past though, all of those brands caused excessive pain and swelling and I eventually just stopped using UG gear. Perhaps they have their act together more now.

the fact remains, it is happening to some people. for those that use ug's, your well-being depends on a certain amount of safety and quality control. the term "a bad batch" seems like an excuse that some people are willing to accept. is safety and quality that difficult to obtain?

Its all about making that dolla. Imo why would you throw out a batch of gear before distributing? They may get bad reviews when people start having problems w/ the bad gear. But like you said it happens and theres always an excuse, Oh yeah we had a bad batch a few month ago, but everything is g2g we have a new supplier or chemist blahh blahh. Sound familiar? Its happening because your supplier only cares about the money they are not your friend they dont care. They have a family to feed like the rest of us.

good point man although i dont picture "them having a family to feed" but rather buying that sports car to match the nice fancy house and the wife who likes to shop for really nice things.

The thing is, it really doesnt cost anymore to make something pain free. Its just a matter of using the right amount of solvent really, and making sure to just filter it through a whatman. Thats all it takes, and its rather cheap. Its almost like they dont know what they are doing. SOmetimes I think they just throw a bunch of BA in there to make sure that its sterile.
