a little help

i am by no means and expert but i do bi shots quite frequently. i usually use a 23g but everyone says use a 25g or 26g. i just sit down and rest my elbow on my quad so the bi is relaxed. i flex my bi and find the peak. i then relax the muscle and stick into where the peak of my bi was. make sureyou aspirate, also there are different heads you can hit, but i usually do this one.

Personally, I try to use the smallest gage possible in a small muscle group like that to avoid scar tissue.

I use a 1", 25g and hit "each" biceps head as decribed in article. You'll want to rotate sites on each head.

I also use a 25g in bicep/delt/tri shots; use a 23g in quads.
Heating the oil while its in the syringe, under hot water, makes the oil thin out a bit.

MikeS' post reminding me of something else! Use a 20g (this is what I use) or 18g pin to draw (anything). Then change pins to 25g - this gives you a fresh pin for the poke! 25g takes FOREVER to draw from vial and it's dulled substantially by poking through the septum.

ABSOLUTELY! I always use a draw needle (18g).
