Hey guys and girls, what type/brand/style of shoes do you prefer to lift weights in?

I've tried Nike Shox and Otomix, all worked pretty good but don't last long! When doing deadlifts and squats I use my Otomix but my feet hurt at times when I go heavy on them. All input is very welcome!

Anything that requires power delivered to the floor (squats, deads, etc) I use my old hard sole Georgia work boots. Anything with a give in the sole of the shoe will absorb part of your drive. After that, anything comfortable.

nike free's pre any kind of leg workout. now that i do legs best shoes i have found are the puma cell's.

Do-win weightlifting lifting shoes for pretty much everything. Theyre cheaper than the Adidas that Blenderate posted but they usually have a higher heel.

Flat soled nike, or adidas for deadlifts and leg day. All other days i were Asics Nimbus. Most comfortable shoes i've ever owned. Feet never get sore.

the cheap shit from walmart. the soles are HARD as hell under pressure. plus they are fashionable for everyday use (if your poor like me).

asics running shoes (used to be a CX runner, nothing else feels right since then, lol) for most things, but for squats, power movements, I wear my throwing shoes:

**broken link removed**

I have an old pair of nike's.

i prefer to lift barefoot, which i do when the managers of my gym aren't working, but otherwise i use otomix stingrays.

Leg Day = High Top Chuck Taylors or bare foot. All other days = New Balances.

Got the Do-win Rogues :) a while back... I absolutely love them! I had no idea how great Oly shoes are. The first week it took a little getting used to but after three weeks my squats shot up!

Doesnt matter to me. Usually some type of athletic shoe like NIKE shox,,sometimes just socks or sandals.

Almost without exception every workout shoe I have is whatever *&^%$ brand they have in size 13 in the shop at the gym because I forgot me @#%$^&* shoes again! This is no joke, I talking five pairs of shoes you wouldn't wear to turd fight.

Size 13? holy crap!
you know what they say about a guy who wears a big shoe...
hes got a big.....foot!

:)

cross trainer on regular days
socks only on leg days

I've been wearing nothing but nike airmax 360's since 5 years ago. Have gone through 2 pairs.

ive been lifting in my new otomix. things are like slippers, but i do notice that my feet hurt some time after a lift or when standing around. but man are they comfortable to do cardio in good forward backward movment and little lateral movement. idk i like em.

I think Nike Shox suck for lifting, I always feel unstable on them, as if my ankle is going to roll over. I stick to the basic air force 1's, for deadlifting just my socks.
