Hey guys, I did a quad inject about 36 hours ago. Injected 2ml into the vastus lateralis now the muscle is sore and it's a familiar soreness. But it's about 3 to 3.5 inches away from the injection site. It is almost seems to be in the Rectus femoris part of the quad. Near the knee. Has anyone experienced this or have a possible explanation?

Yes, I have had every imaginable injection pain known to man, with an abscess that need surgery too, unfortunately part of the game, keep an eye on it and if gets worse see a doctor. I am sure you know the drill.

It's not infected, no redness, no additional heat. It is just not where the inject site is. Perhaps it has to do with a nerve but I don't know enough biology to know if that is the case.

Feels like typical soreness. Since no heat or redness, it's almost like the soreness from injecting a virgin muscle. And it's not an area of pain. It's more like a knot.

I've had similar things like this before, It's like you gave yourself a shot in a completely different area. I talked to a doctor friend about it before and he said it's typically a nerve. Just l keep a watchful eye on it
