I'm no expert but that vit A backbone doesn't seem like it'd be particularly soluble in alcohols. Fats and nasty organic solvents would be my first couple of guesses...

That said, isotretinoin is sold as a liquid suspension for "research purposes". If you really want to get it into solution you'll probably want to use PEG, somewhere in the 250-400 range.

I'm assuming you have pure isotretinoin powder? Not asking for a source, but how'd you manage that? I wonder how legit it could be, cuz I've read that isotretinoin is a pretty unstable or fragile molecule..

it is unstable. if you noticed, all the research companies tell you to shake before each use

Well that's a matter of solubility where it falls out of the suspension.. Instability on the other hand is much worse, where the molecule actually becomes a different substance altogether.

Maybe a sonicator would work to suspend the solvent better, if you had the money

I don't think this is about injecting accutane.. Even tho it's in a liquid suspension, it is still taken orally..
