ACNE.....ANY SUCCESS? ANYONE
Fellas,
Someone please give me some of your successful "tricks" to help prevent acne. Over the counter, Scrip stuff or Voodoo tricks are appreciated. I'm a vain SOB and wanna keep my skin like a shaving cream model!!!!
Heres my case:
-In week 2 of my 2nd cycle.
-Always somewhat prone to mild acne (even though I'm 36)
-Stackin Deca and Omna 250 test (1 amp/wk each) 10 weeks.
-HCG and Clomid therapy at end of cycle.
Last cycle, I took vitamin C and zinc throughout and did really well.....almost no zits. In week 8, I ran out of Omna and used some Prop Test at a tapered lower dosage. Damn! I don't know what happened, but ACNE kicked in and didn't stop. When I hit the clomid and HCG......it really spiked. Not too much surface acne, but the crap that hurts and makes skin red with deep bumps.
Any help guys?..........
Deadlifter that likes sex...........
Thanks.

Bro , I am highly interested here as well
But I have learned that vitamin B-5 pantothenic acid works very well in high dosages and it is in health food stores and modestly priced...................Ironman

Try some tetracyline...
Hmm..I gotta try the Vitamin C and ZINC..!
Get a doc to write a script for tetracylian...Try tanning...Drink lots of water....
BTW - When you switched to the Propinate...I bet your test levels kinda dropped (or dramaticly raised...depends on when you switched and the dosage..) and then leveled out...That is why you got the acne...
Me...I tend to most of the acne a few weeks after a cycle...The same logic applies..The flucuating hormone levels cause this to happen...
Ever notice how some women get pimples right around the time the red rover visits?..That is because their hormones are going crazy!...LOL!
Good luck,
Ernie Taylor

Hate to say it, but you just gotta spend the $$ and do it, the only thing that worked for me was : Accutane.

acne..........help!!!!
been there my bro. gotta argee with flatline...accutane.....also heard of and read about another..proscar....blocks the DHT....you know the bad stuff.....helps with hair loss also..little expensive but well worth it if all i hear about is true.....also i read somewhere that tane' taken 1 gel tab a day for the first four days of your cycle does the trick.....not to bad if it works.....i do know that long term usage of accutane can cause more problems than its worth.....liver, dry chapped lips..really dry and flaky skin.....so if you are in the middle of a cycle now...try to get some proscar.....next time make sure you have all the extras on hand before you start and try the 4 tab trick with the accutane......let me know how it works out.....good luck my lifting/growing bro.

all of the bros
have given you good advice. i used to have bad acne, but I have found that deca not test was the problem and I have switched to EQ and have had practically no zits at all, plus I tan everyday and take propecia because it blocks the DHT conversion in test.

For the first time in my life I am getting them on my back, chest and shoulders. I think it isn't only because of my oily skin but, because I am hairy and shaving those areas 2 times a week causes irritation.

Clomid gives me acne. I notice its worse when I use a dipilatory (like epil-stop). I guess it leaves the pores too wide open. Remember-dont use accutane and orals (17aa) at the same time.

Witch Hazel
I have used Witch Hazel on the area's affected by pimples and this seemed to help quite a bit. Also, witch hazel is great to use after you have shaved an area, prevents ingrown hairs also.
Witch Hazel is good for lots of things.

it is not nearly as bad as you think.. your liver is one of the most resiliant organs in the body and will recover given time... Also if you have milk thistle on hand, do not drink alcohol, and don't take over-the-counter pain killers like tylenol, you'll be fine stacking orals with accutane... and orals, btw, is not THAT much more liver toxic... injectables, like orals, have to pass thru the liver as well... only one time fewer, that's all..

right now im in week 5 of taking doxycycline 100mg 2X daily. i have 3 weeks left and my back is already pretty damn clear. still discolored but all my knots and blood filled sacs have gone away. you can get them from some people off the net, but its cheaper if you have insurance to just go to a derma.
hope this helps,
Todd
