Advantages of Cycling?

I'm not to new to the forum, but I believe this will be my first post.

I am just wondering how many of you cycle your carbs and calories either year round of pre contesnt. Do you think there are advantages to doing so?

Usually I eat roughly the same every day. But I'm going to give carb cycling a try.

This is what I have come up with.

High day: 1xbw(protein) 2xbw(carbs) No added fats

Med Day: 1.5xbw(protein) 1xbw(carbs) 10-15 added grams of fat

Low day 1.5xbw(protein) 0.5xbw(carbs) 20-25 added grams of fat.

For any one with any experiance in a cycling approach, I would appreciate any feed back you could offer.

I cycle carbs and fat throughout the year to maintain low bodyfat - protein stays pretty much the same.

When dieting to lower bodyfat, I use a 10-day cyclic ketogenic diet with several days of close to zero carbs and high sets/reps to deplete carbs, and few days of carb loading, then coast a few days and repeat.

Can yuo elaborate on what yuo mean by 10-15 gms added fat? Is this in addition to yuor normal fat intake, or the total fats for that day?

I would add an additional 15 grams to my total for the day.

i do it year round as part of a weekly plan, i believe the body is better at using nutrients if the amounts vary day to day. lets say i want to average 350 g Protein a day and 210 g carbs a day, i do not believe eating 350 pro and 210 Carbs each day is as beneficial as fluctuating the numbers on a daily basis, it is also much less boring
