Ive watched two of the Ronnie Coleman Dvd's this weekend. What I founds was interesting is how he does his reps. He looks as if his main concern is the time the muscle is under tension versus where maybe Im making a mistake. See I hit my sets but sat chest for instance Im hitting a more complete range of motion. But then Im thinking my tricep may be getting worked to hard. He only hits reps like that at thend, last rep or last 2 reps. But like on seated calf machine, I usually go down to a deep stretch then up and hold for a half a second with a tight squeeze. Whereas he kinda bounce the weight and hits reps.
One thing with most these Dvds is its always usually contest prep work so the rep range me be higher than usual and pretty much the whole workout. I know I cant compare myself to him and him being Pro, but if his time under tension is somehting even someone like me is doing maybe I could sppee dmy progres sup by taking the time to alter my workouts....
Plus now that I think about it I read an article on arm training by him. He note using cables for arms provides a constant time under tension that you cannot get using a dumbell. So maybe I am a little wrong...
But I think he is funny to watch him eat, he takes his time....That and chucking a 150+ dumbell across the floor and calling all the heavy weights a "Peanut"........Lol
