alendronic acid

does anyone know anything about alendronic acid? obviously done a search but was hoping to hear from real world experience and such. i have crohns colitis and have to take prednisone when it flares up and the alendronic acid is to protect my bones from the prednisone but i try and take as few drugs as possible and eat good diet so wondered if anyone here knew anything ,also gathered it makes alot of people feel crappy! i take prednisone once or twice a year for about 5or 6 weeks at a time between 20 and 40mg ed if this helps , i know what ive read regarding bone dammage but then again ive read what docs say about other drugs being more dangerous than they are such as aas! thanks guys for any help richie

Sorry, I don't know anything abou alendronic acid, but I do know that prednisone is some pretty bad stuff, sounds like your doc is at least taking steps to minimize it's negative effects.

Have you spoken to your doctor about HGH therapy to control crohns disease?
