Always Tired

I constantly feel tired. Finished cycle 750mg sus/wk, 100mg masterone/eod 8 wks ago. Was also taking 2iu gh 5 on 2 off and continue with the gh. Started taking zoloft for 4 wks prescribed by doc for social anxiety. This is when I began feeling tired. Doc switched zoloft to prozac because of tiredness. Been on prozac for 3wks now and still tired. Had blood work done a few days ago and everything is normal. Don't know if hormone levels were checked. Anyone know what could be causing this and what can be done to combat it? I tink its the antidepressants.

dose of the anti depressants could be too high. insted of swithching ask the doc about reducing the dose a bit.

Just look on your blood test to see what was checked.

Mine didnt and i was on celexa for close to years. I switched to wellbetrin. It is a different drug but also helps with anxiety. It just has the opposite reaction.

I take 250 mgs a day of zoloft and after a while it will get better. Dont worry, many people have much higher qualities of life due to these medicines but they are not a one size fits all cure. Have patience and focus on whats important, god bless.

Have you tried something a little more natural? I started the B-12 about a month ago and one of the effects many talk of and i personally felt is natural energy....This might combat well your issues since it's often prescribed for chronic fatigue patience as well. As was stated before...nothing is a one size fits all but at the cost of this particular product you cant really go wrong simply giving it a try.

Make sure you drink a lot. Prozac etc make you sweat more. If you're dehydrated you will feel tired.

Your Endocrine System is over stressed, prozac and zoloft would not help your adrenal cortex out put, take 300 mg Humanofort per day, and dont take any stimulants for 4 weeks.

Do you snore? Do you sometimes wake up gasping for air? If so you might want to look into getting checked out for sleep apnea. The symptoms you describe could be a lot of things from a disease to not getting enough sleep.

Don't think I have sleep apnea. I'm familiar with the symptoms. I don't snore or wake up gasping. The sleepiness started once I started taking these psych drugs. Today I felt pretty energetic. First time in the last 8 wks or so.

you are taking an SSRI selective seratonin reuptake inhibitor which keeps seratonin in the nerve synapses longer. Increasing seratonin will improve mood but will make you tired like you are saying, it will make you fat as well. Ask your doc about an anti depressant that works with norepinephrine I can't recall the names but they should help without the tiredness.

I use wellbutrin and cymbalta. Cymbalta really helps with depression and some for anxiety. The wellbutrin gives me a lift. A small amount of klonipin ONLY when anxiety is really rough. Provigil when I need more energy and/or brain is foggy. Tried many combos. I know everone is different. Hope this helps.

Didn't test T levels. Been in the game 18 yrs with many cycles and never felt this tired post cycle. It's gotta be the prozac. Wanna get T levels checked and hopefully hrt, after all my age is getting up there (40 in May). Psychologist wants to put me on a mood stabilizer with the prozac. Can't remember the name of it, but I'm not a fan of these psych drugs.

O I see you are almost 40, at that age you just can`t go totaly of the test.
I am 55+ and I know exactly how you feel, and I know the solutin for that problem, (with out prozac).
