sean it b4 answered here but i cannot locate it so here goes how do you open 1ml amps the correct and easy way???

Send them to me and I will open each of them as it is very very hard and takes delicate hands...

Buy an Amp opener or place between Thumb and index finger and snap off...An amp opener will score them first to make it easier to snap

Some are a lot tougher to snap off than others. An amp opener is good. You can also score them with a metal nail file and make them break easier and more cleanly. I have cut myself on a jagged amp break before.

i've noticed that most amps will give an indication of a "weak" spot

or pressure spot on the neck......by way of a line or a dot

that when pressed easily opens the amp

or is it just me???

Use a tissue on either end and grab the amp, then do as tenny says and find the weak spot (usually a dot) and then just snap it.

Always have a few extras on hand because you will most likely break a few if your not used to it. Some may not, but I have broken a few

I always found that just rotating the amp while putting pressure on it will break it at the weak spot relatively easily. I use a towel or a Tshirt to cover my hand.
