maybe he just meant that venezuelans also speak portuguese and that he is prone to inviting INTERNATIONAL members , so it is a good liklihood he invirted this new bro

Most people in Venezuela don't speak Portuguese, only Spanish

i thought Brazil and Venezuela are primarily Portuguese speaking nations

Wait a second I can ask an expert who was born in Venezuela and lived there until 3 years ago.

Ok here is what my gf said

All people in Brazil do speak Portugues only.

Venezuelan's 99% speak only Spanish.

Well - I think it's great we're trying to cover each other's back!

Hell, I get Portugal and Puerto Rico mixed up all the time - one's south of the border (not quite in S America). I believe they speak Spanish in Puerto Rico - but what do I know!
