Any tips for my first ever cut..?

First of all, I want to say that I love this board. Ive been around many, more of a reader than a poster but know that there are some very experienced brothers on here so thought it would be a good place to ask.

Im a few weeks into my first cut and just wanted to ask if people had any specific or even just general tips they could offer to help me out as I really don't know what Im doing here lol.

I seem to be leaning out and losing weight but my belly hasn't went down, Im guessing thats just the order that my body is losing fat.

So yeah, any tips would be much appreciated!
 
don't get discouraged by being flat and tired.


id time carbs around training.. reduce carbs each week and increase protein a little



make slight changes to diet, and train heavy and hard with perfect form.


get a good stimulant. I recommend syndrex by underground supps
 
Don't put trash food in your cabinet. If its not readily available to you, you're less likely to eat it.
 
use measurements instead of the scale to track progress. Weight going down on the scale might make you feel like your losing muscle/mass. Look visually, are you getting more vascular? I like a cheat day, higher carb day like 2-250g once a week. Just did that yesterday and feel leaner today, back to eggs/ chicken and greens beans.

250g carbs is low carb and not a "cheat day" for any serious bodybuilder lol...
 
Get a digital scale for food. It will come in very handy.
 
Digital scale for food is #1, second is manipulating carbs, find out what works for you, don't be scared to experiment, last is fasted cardio in the morning, burns fat as fuel and kick starts you metabolism and your ready for the day!

I don't understand why guys have to resort to being disrespectful and name calling. We are grown ass men. It's cool to debate things but there is not a need to be disrespectful.
 
The mirror became my best friend, the scale will just depress you.. toss the scale in the trash and use the mirror. You will always lose more weight than you think, hard to accurately judge your own body fat... Be patient as well and good luck!!
 
Ok, when I grow up I wanna be a "serious bodybuilder" like you.....TOOL!

just stating facts. 250g carbs is nothing if you carry any decent amount of muscle mass
 
1-Only eat carbs post workout (Fastest way to loose BF I have found).
2-Rely on diet and hard work and not more drugs.
 
Belly fat is usually the last to go or it will slowly taper down provided your diet is right. You can do all the hard training in the world but if your eating semi wrong, your just going to maintain what you have.
I also would use the mirror and progress pics as a way to determine week, to week changes rather than the scale. Lots of people such as myself can get leaner and leaner each week while cutting but the burned fat is replaced with water. Are you on AAS? Maybe you could break down your diet for us.
 
i agree with the get-a-food-scale tip.
man, when i finally got one i was surprised what a serving size really was.
turns out i was eating sometimes twice the calories i thought i was cuz i greatly misjudged the serving sizes.
 
Yes a scale. Dont rely on measuring food. Always weigh it. The difference is sometimes pretty big.
