Anybody ever take 4-5 days off Mid-Cycle? How often? Results?

I'm in the middle of a Test E, Para, Mast, and Primo cycle right now.

I normally lift 3-4 days on, then 1 off. My lifting style is DC.

My stats are 6' 5'' 242 11% BF

I'm also beginning baseball season, so I decided to take a week off leading up to pratices.

Have you guys ever done this before?

My joints (elbows), and shoulder (throwing shoulder), we're very sore from tossing and hitting, but after just 3 days (and some Glucosmaine, MSM, and Cissus), I'm recovering very well. I also haven't lost any mass yet.

How often do you guys do this (take a week off), and what are your opinions on it?

Also for any athletes out there, how often do you lift in-season? I'm thinking eod, or 1 on, 2 off.

College? What position do you play? You should have a regimen worked out for you if you are playing college ball, are you still in high school?

You're going to get 100 different responses to this question. You have to decide for yourself when you need a break and for how long. When I played college ball, lifting was 2 days a week, maybe 3, depending on schedule. Pro ball was different, lifted 2 days sometimes 0, all depends. When in season, you're going to want to "maintain", for injuries being the main reason. This is why I ask your position.

Like richie said, depends on your position.

I was a college pitcher, but I threw sub-marine. So keeping/adding size didn't really affect me. I was 5'11" 205 at 9-10% bf. Not a typical pitcher, but with a little EQ I could out run all the other pitchers in distance lol

#1 if you are lifting dc style, you are not lifting 3-4 days in a row with one off.

#2 - DC has rest periods built into it when you need them. For me this occurs at around 8-10 weeks of beating the log book, then i drop back and take 1 week fully of and another just toying arounsd with exercises in the gym that i want to incorporate into my next blast.

Do what your body is telling you it needs. If you need a break you need it. You will come back recharged and refreshed and probably shoot past any plateaus you might have hit prior.
