I had to post on this after following this amazing story...........The rescue of Captain Phillips..

The heroic efforts of the Captain, and then the US NAVY is incredible and one that will for sure be a movie....

I am proud to be a American and as ALWAYS proud supporter of our Military men and women!

If you have been following this story, the fact that the Captain is alive after all that took place is trully amazing..

Eventhough, the economy sucks right now, it was goosebump, proud moment for our Military elite and America.

So glad that we put bullets in all their heads.. That's what should have been happening the entire time with these pirates.. Alot of people don't know that there have been 100's of pirate hijackings like this over the last couple years.. And I think it's despicable - all ships should have firepower and be able to kill these degenerates on the spot..

The pirates on the mainland have some real balls saying that next time they get threatened and confronted again like that, they will kill the hostages.. Well guess what you fucking idiots? If you kill the hostages there will be nothing stopping us from obliterating you once your bargaining chip is gone.. It's shocking that this has really gone on for this long and I hope every last one of them dies a painful death.. Fuck a trial too - either put bullets in em or throw em overboard.

well, the most amazing part was there were three navy seals that parachuted onto the boat and all three got head shots at the same time while on a moving boat... That water is not so calm... Amazing... America can train some snipers...

Those were AMAZING shots! Three simultaneous shots, while both boats rose and fell and swayed side to side from the swells of the sea!!!!!! I LOVE our military!!!!!!

It's a shame that this type of thing happens "ALL THE TIME" In many cases they hijack ships in the middle east hauling oil. The rich Saudis simply helicopter over a few million in cash and off go the pirates. If more countries would stand up to them we wouldn't have 20 plus ships hijacked daily.

I wonder how many attacks would occur if there were two 50 cals on both the port/starboard and one on the bow and stern...then when they see the dipweeds coming, unleash hell at their little frigg'n boats.

I don't think they parachuted onto the boat. they problably dropped from a cargo plane into the ocean and moved to the Bainbirdge via a dingy of some sort. news coverage said the bainbridge was 200 ft or so away from the pirate occupied lifeboat. that would have been an easy shot for those guys.
i hope its the first of many....
