Arnolds' weight

I was in barnes and noble today and picked up musclemag to browse, the one with Arnold on the cover. Does anybody know what his bodyweight was in his prime? Cause from the pics he looked pretty dam big.

I read that the largest he ever was offseason was 250. I know for a fact, that every olympia he competed in he was between 225-235 range, although he looked much bigger. The 1974 olympia is considered his best, where he was 237, in great condition. The 1975 olympia was his lightest in my opinion, because he had to lose a lot of weight for a movie he did called Stay Hungry. He had to get his weight down to 210 for the movie, then later that year, he competed in the olympia agaist Lou Forigno, as depicted in the movie pumping iron.

Yup. And to consider this is great when your read claims on forums someone is 240 and 6% bodyfat at 5'10''.

Yeah, I figured Zane was under 200lbs. From these pics in musclemag I figured he was at least 275, I didn't realize he was about 250 at his heaviest off season. Good genetics. Imagine what he would look like if he was competing in todays world.

Very small waist, so he looked bigger then he was weight wise.

Its that ridicules taper he had from his tiny waist to his broad shoulders, and those lats that look like wings under his arms, it was decieving.

We're not used to seeing guys with waists that small competing in the era of GH!

I would say 230-240. Its hard to say with that monster chest and tiny waist. Arnold is one cool MF.

I know today he is around 175/185 lbs. And he is not 6'2" as was claimed. When I met him, he was the same height as me and I am 6'-00. He does have a tall forehead and large hands.
