Hey guys- currently as we speak I'm on no AAS, but I'm still getting a horrible back pump. I am on slin post workout and doing it correctly. I'm following what my trainer, Phil says. I know a lot of it is because I haven't been stretching out my hams as much as I should be, but other then that how much taurine should I be taking? Its only after I run, and I know its not kidney/live problems. It feels the EXACT same as the pump I got from A BOMBS
 
that is strange, maybe you are not drinking enough water. i jsut finished up some drol I love that stuff! the pump after deads is insaine.
 
Havent put on any weight, I'm leaning out a lot! As for water, that could be possible come to think about it....I stopped drinking water after 8 because I'd wake up 6+ times a night to piss and it wasn't letting me get my full night sleep in. How much taurine is suggested to take a day and what time do you take it, or do you split it up?
 
thats wierd that your getting painful pumps like that,especially since your not on right now..i only ever got insane pumps when on dbol or a bombs..could be the fact that you need to drink more water..
 
Mind to muscle connection if you ask me. I get the same with my chest after doing just two sets. Chest is my thing because I can "feel" it out the best. Thats why its my strongest lift and I'm trying to bring everything else up to par.
 
You take insulin right? When I was taking it I got massive pumps all over the body. They were at least as strong or stronger than ones I get from steroids. I also get pumps when I'm running and I think that would be mainly due to incorrect position.
 
I've upped my water intake, and stopped taking slin post workout right now to see if thats what it was. I'm also taking taurine and potassium. I'm not taking potassium pills, but I'm throwing in a decent amount of bananas into my diet. It's starting to get a little bit better, but it's still a bitch to deal with. I'm going to run to my buddy and get a blood test done just to make sure it's nothing too big.
 
Back pumps suck!!!!

I've got them before when I was on. They suck terrible. I would get them especially on squat day and deadlift day. I would have to sit down between sets and just pray they would go away.

I'm no stranger to pain either. I was a Marine, wrestler, etc. and have to say, back pumps are one of the more uncomfortable things I have endured. I did have a UA done and it was normal, although, interestingly enough my specific gravity indicated I was a little dehydrated even though I was taking in at least a gallon of water per day!!

ON CGT-10 is a decent supplement that might help. It has creatine, glutamine and taurine in it.
