bacne problem

on my first cycle i ran test e at 500mg a week for about 12 weeks or so. i got a few pimples on my back but they'd come and go it wasn't a problem. now i'm on my second cycle of test e at the same dosage in addition with decca at 200mg a week. i'm on my 8th week and i've been getting the same amount of acne as before, but for the last 3 days i have a huge pimple on the side of my back, and another one forming right in my armpit. are those just pimples or could they be boils????? very painful.

Sounds like cystic acne.. I'd really look into accutane, cuz that shit can actually get worse when you come off cycle.

Yep, sounds cystic. If it doesn't have a head, is almost like it's totally under the surface but large and very painful, then it's cystic. Check with your doc. Bactrim works well. Liver toxic though, and makes you photosensitive to UV rays, but it'll get rid of 'em.

yeah the one on my back is huge and i dont know if it's just in my head but i think it got bigger. and it's very painful. and i just realized i have 3 of them forming on my armpit, that's gonna hurt like hell with all the friction of ubbing together all day. i can't even put on deodorant. can my doc prescribe me accutane or is that something i have to get off a sponser? it's very painful and they came out of nowhere.

I've gotten those man, and they kill.. Just like you said the friction bothers you all day, and then when you try and sleep some positions suck just as much.. What ends up happening is you'll wake up 1 morning and find it drained, but with the pain subsided, thank god..

You can try and get acutane from the doc, but sometimes they're very reluctant to prescribe it, and if they do they'll have you in all the time for tests and shit.. If you don't have ins. it's also very expensive.. Research Stop sells it (isotretinoin), and I just started a low dose for a preventative measure for my cycle I'm starting next week - and I can vouch for it, it's definitely legit - already have pretty chapped lips after a week.

yeah exactly, i can't sleep on my side it hurts too much. what worries me is the first one came out of nowhere and it's just getting worse and 3 new ones are appearing, does this mean i should be expecting more? how good is the platinums lab product?

Never tried the plat labs stuff, but with that kind of acne which I've had, I say fuck it and go for the strongest shit out there - accutane.. I did a big cycle like 6 yrs ago and got some cystic acne after, and the doc prescribed me accutane.. Had pretty much no side effects and it worked great.. So since I kno that I'm prone to breaking out on cycle, this time around I started a low dose accutane before I even start, cuz it's just not worth it to me to deal with the zits..

DO NOT try to pop it! I know they hurt, but they do go away with time. I started a cycle three weeks ago, and had one of those in each pit. One is almost gone, and the other is starting to shrink.

Make sure your estrogen is not too high. I went to a dermatologist had all these pills, lotions, washes - nothing. After a few months of zero improvement I increased my AI - huge improvement. You can't treat messed up hormones with acne meds - maybe accutane, but that is a harsh route. All of this is just my singular experience tho'

i have plenty of nolva on hand but i don't take it because gyno hasn't been a problem at all and i don't want to hinder any gains. but that's what i might have to do.

Yea, I've heard that high estrogen and DHT can contribute to acne.. That's why some guys swear by an AI and/or finasteride.. I was always under the impression it was just Test causing it, with the excess sebum production getting infected w/ bacteria.

i have read some scary stuff about accutane. depression (i have depression) dry skin that cracks and is painful (i have dry skin anyways im 100% irish it runs in the family) and chapped lips (my lips are already fucked up because they got burnt years ago and they're always chapped) i'm basically fucked. so are these side effects exagerated? i see some people say it worked wonders while others say some scary shit. should i just use the platinum labs product? and another question i really want answered is, am i going to get more and more every day or what? help please, this is painful and stressful.

I feel the side effects are very over-hyped, just like the media likes to do - same shit with the Hydroxycut now, ya kno? My Dr. had me on a high dose years ago (80mg), and all I experienced was the chapped lips and dry skin.. But it was nothing that chapstick and moisturizer didn't completely control.. The chance of depression is very very low, and I experienced none.. Besides the bit of dryness, I couldn't even tell I was on it, and this was the high dose too..

Now I'm just running 20mg day for prevention, as my skin is currently clear and I wanna keep it that way on cycle.. I'll up it a little bit if I have to, but I can't see myself having to go over 30-40mg Tops.. If you find a Dr. to prescribe it, they like the 1mg per kg of body weight, but there's been studies that 0.25mg/kg are just as effective..

And on the 20mg of RS stuff that I'm currently running, I can tell it's real deal stuff.. I searched around online ALOT for places to find it, and there are sites overseas that sell expensive pills, but I read a bunch of shoddy reviews, some saying it was totally bogus.. It cost me $200 to run the 20mg for 4 months, and had I gone with pills from another site, it would have been easily triple that.

Also for bacne, on top of any meds you choose to use, try soaking in hot epsom salt baths, that helps too. Also believe it or not use some apple cider vinegar tabs.

well that's interesting i will try that out. i will try any suggestion from somone with experience that doesn't put any harmful chemicals in my body. on the other hand i do want to take suggestions from other experienced people but i am skeptical with the accutane due to all the scary stories i have read. if this shit doesn't subside that's the route i'm going to take. i can deal with the pain but it just looks horrible. my intention was to look great by july, not covered in zits. if the zits are under my arm pits is it definetely cistic acne? i swear to god every hour i can see more forming on my back. i am so nervous. i wonder what i will look like next week. from the people with experience with my condition, will i be expecting more and more zits every day???????? i really need that answer questions so i can prepare myself for the bullshit.

i posted this on bb.com a while ago. all about accutane.

i see a lot of people posting about accutane...good and bad. i have been prescribed accutane by my dermatologist, 80mgs per day taken twice daily(40mgs in the am and 40mgs in the pm). so heres the deal.

accutane (isotretinion) is a vitamin a derivative, it works by shrinking the sebaceous glands that produce oil. accutane may cure acne for life.

accutane is prescribed for cystic acne (sometimes called nodular acne). cystic acne is kind of like tender pockets of oil and blood under the skin. they can range in size from pencil eraser size to as big around as a quarter. they are usually very painful, red and swollen as well. they can occur on the face, chest, shoulders and back.

accutane is usually prescribed when other treatments do not work...ie otc meds, antibiotics. my doc said accutane was the only thing that would help me. i asked about antibiotics, and he said they would not work for the type of acne i have. accutane treatment typically lasts 4-6 months.

in the usa, to be prescribed accutane, you must join the ipledge program. check it out at ipledgeprogram.com. basically this program states (for men), only a one month supply may be prescribed at a time, and you must see the doc once a month to get refilled. the program may have you answer questions from time to time during treatment. for women it the program is a big deal due to birth defects, if a women is or gets pregnant while taking accutane. i wont go into detail on the female side of the program since most people in this section are men.

i had to take a blood test to get a baseline of my cholesterol and lipids. im not sure what else they test for but when i return to the doc i will get the test results. my doc told me monthly blood tests are not required for men anymore. he said he would test me again after a month or two of treatment to make sure everything was fine. for women monthly blood tests are required, but thats mainly to check for pregnancy.

do not take accutane if you have the following health conditions:
mental problems
asthma
liver disease
diabetes
heart disease
bone loss (osteoporosis) or weak bones
anorexia
food or medicine alergies

possible side effects which you should stop taking accutane and talk to your doc if you get:
birth defects, women cannot get pregnant on accutane unless you want an alien baby
mental problems
serious brain problems
increased pressure in the brain
loss of eyesight
death
bad headache
blurred vision
dizziness
nausea or vomiting
seizures
stroke
sever stomach, chest, or bowel pain
touble swallowing or painful swallowing

misc faqs:
acne may get worse when starting accutane, it may take up to a month or more to start working

accutane can damage the esophagus (wash it down good if you take research liquid isotretinion)

miss a dose, skip it and take next dose.

dont get pregnant (women only), accutane will not affect mens sperm or sperm count. men can take accutane, get a girl pregnant, and the baby will be fine.

things to avoid while taking accutane:
do not give blood
do not take other meds, without talking to your doc
do not drive at night til you know if accutane has affected your night vision
no waxing, dermabrasion, or laser procedures on the skin
aviod sunlight, tanning beds and ultraviolet light, wear sunscreen

accutane can be very harsh on some people, so think it over before taking any. doc told my in ten years or prescribing accutane, he has had only two cases of really bad side effects.

i would also recommend people to not take any oral steriods while on accutane due to liver toxicity.
