Great guy,tremendous sense of humor and of course a great athlete !
Hard to piss him off but if you did you were in a world of pain.
He didnt get it for free he worked his ass off and overcame being a weak kid with asthma.
I trained at a gym in Holland where he used to work out and it was always fun when Bas was around.

Yea, Sam's a really good guy. One of the nicest guys i've probably ever met. I was waiting tables in St. Louis a year ago during a break, and he came in and we started talking. One hell of a nice guy. That's cool you know him very well. I'll pm you sometime soon bro.

One of the funniest things i seen from Bas is when he drops Ricco in the smashing machine documentary. Funny shit, its at about 3:14 in the video.

A great guy indeed and a very good commentator as well.
