I have been doing injections for well over a decade and luckily have had very few bad shots thus far. However, I have only been doing biceps injections for the past couple of years due to excessive scar tissue buildup in other muscles. Anyways, today I did a little over 1cc in my right bicep. I injected in the inner head about 1/3rd of the way up in the muscle from the bottom and about 1/2" medial to the vein. Immediately following shot I massaged the shit out of the muscle and did some contractions to pump the muscle; as I always do. When I was contracting the muscle I noticed that the outer head appears to be slightly flaccid and deformed(it looks as if the outer head extends to the elbow).
I tried analyzing the situation to decipher whether it is oil seapage causing the deformation, or if I may have hit a motor neuron during the injection(there was no pain or abnormailities during the injection by the way). I am not thinking that it is oil seaping out as I am not sure why it would leak simply to the outer head; as well as it doesn't feel like oil buildup and seems more like the outer head just ins't fully contracting.
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem and if so how long did it take to resolve?
