Birthday Chicken

Sunday was my husband's birthday. I was going out to get a birthday cake for him. He asked me to not get a cake but to either get some "good" steaks or skinless chicken breasts to grill outside. So I got him the skinless chicken breasts (they were on sale) .

He grilled them on the grill. Instead of putting barbecue sauce on it, I had him drizzle some olive oil and some spices on mine (I'm watching my figure .) He put the barbecue sauce aside and did all of them that way.

Anyhow, at the dinner table one of my kids (she's 11) says that she doesn't want cake for her birthday. She wants the skinless chicken breasts. My 9 year old son says he wants a T-bone steak for his birthday.

Isn't it cool when parents start to eat more right the kids follow? I thought it was.

that does sound cool. But a birthday without cake is like a strip club without strippers. Have the steak and chicken but save room for cake. Everybody loves cake and ice cream.

It is good that you're kids are learning good eating habits. It really pisses me off when I see a little kid that is severely obese and the parents are buying him a bag of chips and a coke. They are ruining the kids life and are too stupid to see it.

Men be wary, I was doing cardio flipping around and saw a news story about some sort of chicken dinner women are making the make men purpose. I think it was on Operah as well. I have a cross trainer in front of a tv.
