My problem is that since i been running more i been getting a lot of blisters on my feet. Its becoming painful and annoying. Neone else have this prob???

Mike,

Personally I wouldnt run or jog because it's not good for your knee's. Why not do Cardio like Cross trainer or stationary bike etc, you wouldnt be getting blisters from those exercises. You would still be getting BPM on cardio same as running. When I used cardio equipment, I dont have knee problems or blister's problem.

Speaking of running, what kind of shoes are you wearing? Are they running shoes? It could be the shoes. Are they new shoes? Maybe you might need to buy some expensive running shoes but be sure to try different brands that suit your comfort needs.

Yeah i was just going to tell you the same thing he just told you. you might better shoes
whenever i do cardio, i do the ellipticals, they dont bother my ankles and put me through any pain. the bike is good too.

Hey Brother,

Congrats on going all Rocky Balboa on us!

Here are a few suggestions:

1. Shoes - If you're having trouble with your shoes hurting your feet, see if you can find a specialty track/runners shop in your area. Bring your worn pair of running shoes, as they can look at the soles and tell alot about how your feet hit the ground.

2. Socks - Double sock it! I like a tight fitting polypro sock underneath and a cotton sock on top. This allows the friction from movement to occur between the two socks, instead of between the layers of your skin.

3. Moleskin - I have friends in the army who swear by the stuff. cut it and apply to blister areas and hotspots. Google it, as there are several shapes that people like to cut it into.

4. I used to like to bathe my feet in rubbing alcohol at night. Just rub them down with a cotton pad soaked in rubbing alcohol. Really dried the feet out, and found that moisture + friction was the cause of my blisters.

Good luck!
