Blood in my bicep

I am positive I tore my labrum (sp) last night in the gym. I have a tare in left shoulder, that was about 4 years ago but there was no blood but the doc did say that is what it was.

Well I hurt my shoulder 2 weeks ago benching and tried to come back and bench yesterday and really hurt it. I was not sure if it was a tare but it felt just like the other one. But with the last one there was no blood. There is blood coming into the bicep but not the shoulder..Is this normal. I am going to the doc today and would like to have surgery asap. but is there a posibility that I have a tare or something in my bicep?

You might be looking at a partial tear of the biceps tendon, or muscle or otheres. I dont think surgery will be needed but some rest and recovery.

It all depends on where the injury is: Remember blood will seep down, so It could be higher (like the shoulder) or it could be the bicep or even the upper/outer pec region.

Be very careful because alot of docs like to use an ultra sound to check this. Ultra sound causes so heat inside the muscle and can sometimes make it worse. I got this info from a doc that used to be part of the minn. vikings. So I believe there is some validity to it. An NFL team isn't going to use something that is going to damage there MIllion dollar investments. Just a thought.

Yes I used that on my left shouder a few years back. The thing to watch for is the heat. If left in one place to long it can burn right through the muscle and tendon. thanks for the heads up though.
 
If it does tend to be a tear there are some things that you can do, some are common sense and some people know but forget. Rest is the number one key. Proper food intake and some extra protein to help heal the wound. Slight, I mean very slight stretching. Ice and heat rotated after a few days. Ice initially to reduce swelling and blood traffic. Manual manipulation after several days. Even on a proper heal there will be some scar tissue and rubbing/massage will help break that up and will help result in a stronger/faster heal. Another thing that I used to help with a pec tear was a low, low amount of gear. I like primobolan for this. It helped me heal and come back faster. Also you can go to white and white or another store that carries medical supplies. Get a tank of pure oxygen, rather cheap. It gives you a more clean oxygen that helps carry more red blood cells through that body to the injured area. This helps almost more than anything! Plus the pure oxygen helps clean impuriities out of your lungs, another bonus.

thank you very much for the info most of it was right on but some I would stay away from..My dad is a doc and I have been through this before and would say never to stretch a tare..I have never done it and maybe it does work but would rather not take my chanes..but the rest like I said was right on and thanks for the info about the oxygen I would not have know about that and will defiantly do that. Can I get this without a script..thanks.

I am keeping everything the way it is because even though I am hurt I still have my legs to grow so I am not going to cycle off..I was on 1 gram of test and 300 mg of tren a week (the tren was the reason I hurt the shoulder, got to strong to fast) since then I have dropped the tren and added another 200mg of test a week so I am just running 1200mg of test also I am at about 234lbs and figure that I should lose almost nothing as long as I keep my diet on track and my gear where it is..I am not going to let myslef get all depressed about this because I have been there before and it got me know where fast..so does this sound about right.
 
The only reason I've used stretching before is to keep alittle range of motion in it. I may have mis spoke. When I say stretch, just keep it limber/flexible. Don't over stretch is what I should have said.
The oxygen shouldn't need a script. It dosen't here in michigan. It's a cheap substitute to one of those hyperbaric chambers that many athletes use. But it does help, like I said it cleans out the lungs too of impurities. Like smoke if your a smoker and I guess your not. So it would help on second hand smoke.
Keeping everything the same and keep the diet good and you should be fine. I didn't realize that you were on at the moment so that will also help. Everything should be ok. Keep us posted.
