blood pressure changes during and after cycle

so I had some unexpected issues with blood pressure this last cycle, and I'm wondering if the changes in my blood pressure and pulse are normal... Start of cycle 128/65 pulse 40 bpm. During cycle 145/68 and 52. Post cycle its been decreasing gradually over the past month from 130s to 120s systolic with the diastolic in the 60s and pulse back to low 40s. I was thinking about adding an OTC antihypertensive the next cycle, what do you think?
I hadn't seen my blood pressure twke this long to down, before. I saw a thread on vitamin d that looked promising a day or so ago, too. So that's the question, would it be worth it to get onto an antihypertensive?
yes my pulse is low naturally from doing more cardio than you. It is in the mid/upper 30's sometimes haha

148 is only borderline at worst and you said temporary. What is your age.

You still doing a lot of biking? I went from 1/2 ironman triathlons last year to run a mile and feel like dying this afternoon. But my bench is up nearly 100lbs, squat and DL much more. I'm gonna make a hot looking corpse.

ha! no, actually I don't do a lot of biking, anymore. I ride recreationally, really. And run my happy ass on the treadmill. I took out the road monster for a ride not too long ago and felt like a bag of shit. It was pretty pathetic. Then there was the other time that I was rolling around town on my 29er and spotted a couple of dudes on nice road bikes and decided to pace them for my parts of my ride, which was coincidentally the same route I was taking. For the whole ride, I rode with them, and the best part was when I outclimbed them up a nice 6-7% 2 mile grade. I felt like sir pimpsalot. But, I paid for it later when I got home (it was a 20 mile ride or so on my 29er in town, if you can believe that). I just muttered in a barely audible monotone for the rest of the night, and ate food. I was using tren at the time, too. Cough cough sputter. Yeah, but damn do you lose fitness quick when you don't keep up with it. I was doing these types of rides in september of 2007:


Ride Time: 5:18:19
Distance: 96.13 miles
AS: 18.1 mph

Ride Time: 2:05:37
Distance: 43.74 miles
AS: 20.9 mph

Which turned into...

20 mile huffing and puffing shitbirds. But, my bench is up. Hot corpse or not, I want something for all of this. Are abs and a 300 + pound bench, squat, and dl really too much to ask for? I don't think so.

yea but i bet you could get it back quickly if you trained for it. i wish i had a background in an endurance sport. your pulse rate is awesome. sounds like you have great genetics for endurance sports... good luck bringing that bp down

thanks amigo. yeah, I'm a hard guy to catch on a bike... or at least I used to be. I really love lifting, though, and have a hard time cycling as much as I'd want or need to keep my previous fitness. I love weights and getting stronger, though... too bad there wasn't a compromise between cycling and weightlifting, god knows I tried for years to make it happen.
