Blood Tests

Im hoping someone can fill me in on how this works.. If I were to just walk in to my physicians office and ask him to give me a blood test to check my Test/Estro levels etc... I dont think he would be inclined to do so with out reason. Do you just flat out tell them I need blood work done because Im an AAS user .?? How does everyone else do it?

Just tell them you want blood work done. You want free and bound test levels, Liver and Kidney function etc.

In the past I've just told my physician that I'm concerned with my hormone levels. And I want to have them checked. And I rattled off some low hormone related symptoms that I was experiencing. It isn't that hard to get it done. One of the issues is that most medical insurance won't pay for hormone panels. So you have to say up front you don't care and you'll pay out of your pocket it necessary.

My insurance pays for all of my tests while im on HRT. It may be a problem for you though since you do not have a diagnosed condition yet. Not sure how that works. The tests are quite expensive. I want to say that the tests my endo runs usually get billed at about $500 or so, but the insurance company has contracts with these companies and the contract price is usually about 1/2 that amount. So even if they wont pay, youll get a discount. I would call your insurance company and ask.

What kind of things do you tell your doc to have them diagnose you with inadequate test levels etc... in all reality i prob do have low test levels cuz I cant put muscle on for crap naturaly .

Low energy levels, low libido, cannot get or maintain an erection, bodyfat may come on in areas where females typically get it like the chest and hips, just feeling like shit in general. I went through having low test for about 7 months and it was hell. Youll know it if its low. Chances are you are normal, but youre wanting to have above normal levels.
