Bodyopus vs Palumbo

The 2 diets sound almost identical. I remember when bodyopus came out (God rest Dan Duchaine) and it was the heat. I did not hear about Palumbo's diet until i got on this board. Has anyone ever done both and if so which do you prefer?
 
I've done bodyopus and right now I'm doing palumbo's diet. I like palumbo's diet better. Waking up every 2 hours fri and sat night sucks, although I was so hungry it didn't suck that bad.
 
Yea the nigh time thing did suck but on Monday morning......watch out, itfelt great.
 
I like Bodyopus with a 6 day low carb and a 1 day:24hr carb-up.

Give them both a try and see what you think?

And they are not as simliar as you may think!
 
I really like the Palumbo diet.(keto diet) I've done both, and that 24 hour re-feed throws you out of Ketosis and takes a few days to get back into ketosis so you really only have about 3-4 days being in ketosis before you do another 24 hour re-feed. Dave's philosophy is that 1 cheat meal per week is enough to get your metabolism moving without taking you too far out of ketosis. He is doing my wife show prep for the second year and we couldn't be happier.

My wife gets a big break on cost since she orders a TON of Species products for the gym and she has sent several up and coming National level BB his way. His diet is usually designed for the person, there are some "general" things that everyone does, but when you pay him, you get his guidance and he tells you what to do and when to do it.

There are many guys out there that do a great job getting people ready for shows or adding muscle to them. We like Dave because there is nothing "special" you have to do the week before the show. I followed the offseason diet he gave me last year and packed on about 20lbs of quality muscle. Now I'm trying to lean down a bit since the wife is getting ready for her show. I'm not super strict with the diet and cardio like she is, but by following his advice, I have gone from 280 down to 260 and hoping to a nice lean 245 by July.
 
I have used both and they are both effective. I prefer Palumbos because I feel much better. One cheat meal a week doesn't cause too much carb storage so you don't feel as crappy the day after the meal. The full day load on bodyopus will have you feeling like crap for a couple days as you go back into ketosis.
