BPC needle length for Hip joint injection?

I have only used slin pins for bpc IM injections in the bicep tendon.

i want to try for my chronic hip arthritis now.

when I got my cortisone shot and prolo done in the hip, i noticed the doctor used a longer needle possibly to get further into the hip joint. would a standard 1.5-inch 27g or 29 be sufficient? has anyone done bpc for the hip joints?

What i understand is that bpc only helps with soft tissue issues.

I would not try to do this on your own. Joint injections need expertise and knowledge. Also an infection in the joint, couldn’t be pretty catastrophic so it is best left for experts.

They use a 3.5 or 5 inch needle to reach the hip joint and an ultrasound or fluoroscopy is needed. There are some large arteries very close to where you need to inject the hip. You would be wise to not try this.
