CARB BACK-LOADING DIET

So I was reading the latest issue of Muscle and Fitness and one of the main articles is on the "CARB BACK-LOADING DIET". It goes against most dietary principals I have been taught. However I found it very interesting and was wondering if anyone has an opinion\ experience on the subject. If not, google it and let me know what you think.

Actually Hormone wise it makes since to me.

Carb load using post workout window, insulin to repartition muscle compartment for 2 -3 meal prior to fasting during sleep.
