If someone is doing cardio at 30 mins on empty stomach 6 days a week, would it better to up the time or add another session? Example go 45 mins 6 days per week or 30 mins twice a day for 6 days per week?
Diet is set up pretty good. VLCD 6 days per week with 6 hour Skipload on Sundays. I carry a lot of muscle but I tend to get very HEAVY when not competing. Currently 12 weeks out.
For me, it depends on what I'm doing and how I am feeling.
I don't ever like to push over 40-45 minutes in one session.
When, I am in the final phases of my dieting... I usually don't have the energy to do more than 30-35 minutes at once.
Sometimes I will hit double fasted cardio. 30 minutes in the AM, stay fasted, and hit another 30 minutes right after work... In combination with peptides or GH.
depends on what intensity range of cardio you are doing. Also, these are 2 quite different scenerios. going to to 45 min 1x/day - 6x/week is a 50% increase in cardio. going to 30min 2x/day - 6x/week is a 100% increase. so not exactly apples to apples
