Chicken in a can is awesome!!! I just went to the grocery and bought some. I was kind of iffy at first but damn!! Its freakin awesome!! It's 50g. protein!! kinda pricey, but its REAL cooked chicken in water. I got the Swanson white premium chunk Chicken Breast. lol Sorry i just wanted to rant about my new finding!

It is good shit, but high in sodium. Good for a quick bit of protein though and easy, just pull off the top.

yes, the sodium is fine...unless your worried about you BP. Are you dieting for a show??? if so then the sodium if good for water manipulation at the end.

I was sick of the tuna, so I bought the chix in a can...good stuff to mix up with noodles, rice, salads, and just right out of the can.

You can rinse it off to get more sodium out of it :st:r-wars

Hey BK, Its just the chicken pieces in water, but for some reason it DOES have really good flavor straight outta the can!!! I just put a little pepper on it, and down the hatch it goes!!

Yup I use the same chicken in a can to make a sort of homemade pot pie get some mixed veggies the chicken and some biscuit dough put in the oven and bam a awesome meal. MM

i've been eating canned chicken for the last 2 years. i find the best brand so far is "vally fresh". costs around 3.50 a can for the 10 ounce can, but is often on sale for 2.99.

I've never tried to rinse the chicken. I think it might flake away. It has just a little thicker consistency than tuna.
