Hi-
I have started my dieting phase for my comp later this summer and cleaned up my diet from a sloppy 5k cals/ day to 4k cals/ day of clean food for the last 4 weeks...I am taking 20-25 weeks to dial it in and have a lot of time to get shredded with most of my muscle. I have lost all my bloat from clean eating and am around 16% bf. I need to lose 30lbs-35lbs, to come in top shape. Right now I am 230 easily. now I am going to start lowering my cals slowly. I was thinking of lowering my cals about 130 cals/day for the first 8 weeks(meaning 3870 cals/ e.d. for the first week, 3740 cals e.d. for week 2, etc. etc.) untill I get to about 3k cals, which then I will start my cardio sessions until im losing 1-1.5 lbs /week.. I am going to keep tweaking slowly losing about 1-2lbs per week Does this sound about right ? This is my first novice show- so I want to show up very conditioned...thanks for all advice- also not interested in taking fat burners, rather do it w/o them the first time so I dont have to rely-
