I want to start competing this coming up year can someone steer me in the right direction as to where to start from?

I suggest you go to your local bodybuilding competition and watch how they pose etc.

Depends how exposure you've had. A trainer is a good idea... I thought I could nail posing buy watching videos, seeing shows, etc. But it was a completely different game when I started working with a pro.

Im just looking for my first show! I just look up a trainer today and will be meeting with him next wednesday!
