Competing In Tested Events

Curious of the actual opinion of people here about competing in events that are drug tested. Seems there are people that are ok as long as they can pass the test but that doesnt make someone drugfree for a show or meet. I dont care if someone uses but its unfair to the people that are being ethical.

If it's a tested show, I'm not competing in it. To be fair, granted not all competitors in a contest may be drug free, but there will be a few who are and it's totally unfair to those who do choose to remain drug free to compete against someone who is "clean" simply because they take specific drugs that clear their systems fast and pass a test.

I think your right Future. I feel the same way. See, I'm looking to do my very first show in 16 months, but I really wouldn't feel right about trying to do a natty show when I've started taking a prohormone. I know these natty's are prohormone queens, but what about the natty who's not using anything. I wouldn't feel right about blowing him out of the water. lol. So I'm going to do a show that's not drug tested. It doesn't bother me at all, b/c these natty shows just isn't where its at for me anyway. I wanna be on stage with the big boys. hahaha. Now my only concern is...am I bringing a knife to a gunfight?

If i'm on a the juice I wouldn't feel that I accomplished much against guys that are legitamently "clean", let the nattys have their thing!!!!!!!!!! And some on them look damn good and would beat some juicers. But not me hopefully!

It works both ways! In 2000 I did a natural contest only required you to be drug free for one year prior. I had been drug free for the year prior but despite, I failed the polygraph. Informed by head judge upon arrival at evening I was out! Asked him where I placed in my class, he replied 1st!
Screwed big time, I politely walked away!

i would want my damn entry fee back!

i dont think its right, but then look at the guy who won Jr. Nats this year... he just won some big tested show-- there no way in hell he is natty.

Now if it was something like the Olympics where the top guys from other countries are doing it and just coming clean for the last 4-6 months to compete-- u bet ur ass i would do the same. US testing is waaay more strict than any other country. does this make me an ass? maybe... but its the truth.

now will i compete in a local drug tested or drug free meet? hell no! most of those guys really are natural its not fair. theres no competition, so whats the point?
