hey thanks man, i ran into some problems with my water.. i was holding watr like a camel. i weighed in at 260lbs(heaviest competitor in the show), 21lbs heavier than last year. i felt good with the improvments i made in the offseason this last year but its not worth much if you cant bring it with condition...... i probably should have been in the low 250's to be dry enuf...
my food spoiled on the way to the show (airport security) and i had to make due with paying 12 bucks for every chicken breast i ate at the hotel resturant... and the flight caused me some fluid retention problems as well.... not trying to make any excuses though, i felt like i was given a gift at getting 5th place in this show.... i probably should have been around 7-8th... this was a stacked show with 20+ competitors in every weight class (40 in the lt. heavies).... i am doing the usa's also, so i will have a chance to bring the condition i missed out on this show....
the fellow that won mike lockett has the best lines i have seen on an amature, his right leg is extremly atrophied compared to his left though... i find it hard to belive god can give a man a physique like that naturally, but i wouldnt dispute his claims of being natural... his posing is under par, along with his back width but he is definatly an extremly gifted bodybuilder.....
i saw u as well and your conditioning was sick! i was meaning to come and chat with ya but never got the chance. you looked very good man! and congrats on your placing!
