Cost to compete

What do you guys spend on average to compete in a show.??
I'm not talking about gear and food and stuff but the actual weekend cost like entry/class fees , hotel , travel , tan , pictures , ect

The fees have steady gotten higher and higher , yet it seems more and more people are doing multiple classes in multiple divisions.!!!

Last weekend New Orleans had a show and that were a handful of people that did Men's physique and classic or classic and bodybuilding with several classes each. One female did three categories with four classes each.!!

I'm just amazed how much people are spending on small local qualifier shows , some have to be spending well over a grand with hotel

It's certainly amazing because people spend so much money to compete in so many different classes.

Especially nowadays when our lifestyle costs so much even outside of competition. My food bill is through the roof and im cutting smh.
I can only imagine that hopefully some competitors in multiple classes are sponsored in someway or really dedicated and bless them for their dedication the sport is getting crazy expensive. Inflation sucks
