I am planning a trip there...but 'out of curiosity' i was wondering what the deal with the pharmacies and the veterinarian pharmacies is down there in terms of steroids....

laws in central america i think vary. But, thankfully, corruption is out of control and giving them a lil more money or just convincing them will get you anything you need. Take my word for it, i was just around there not too long ago.

I love going to costa rica, but in terms of anabolics, most don't carry them because they find no need to. They arent in very high demand because really no one really has the time to "work out" and for most ailments, there are better more effective medicines for the locals. You might find something in the capital or bigger cities, but really, I had the most fun in the smaller coastal towns in CR and I think you will to.

Well AAS wise, you are not going to score anything. But most of the items I see other people buying are more rec in nature. Or fun types like viagra, cialis, etc..

Everytime I do a cruise there - which is usually once a year - I am amazed at the people that come back on the ship talking about how they bought 5 cialis, 20 valiums, 20 vicodins for $150 and the best part of it was that it was WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION. Yay!! They Rock!!!

yeah.... I know. Live and learn huh? LOL

this is completely true, I only found shit in the capital. BTW I wasn't in costa Rica but a country close by.

Well, the stuff you found in the capital...was it quality? Was it at a normal pharmacy or a veterinarian pharmacy?

Sorry to bump, but I just want to update this thread in case anyone plans on going to costa rica and wants to know if they do have steroids. I just got back yesterday. And the answer is yes, I saw sustanon while I was there and confirmed at many 'farmacias' that Costa Rica does sell steroids. No RX needed.

By the way, I was in a small surfing town named Jaco, and they had it. So I have to imagine that San Jose has plenty of it.

I knew that they would have anything you need. Being that there isn't a lot of demand for it, just means that there's more available to those who do want it.

This brings up a good point, where would one think the best palce to live would be if you wanted to take let's say a three month vacation and didn't want to worry about laws and such for bodybuilding purposes.

Also take into consideration things like living expenses, entertainment, food and safety. I was thinking thailand as well, anyone else have any opinions?
