Don't chance it. All cruises now you have to complete a pre-cruise registration, the informaton of which is turned over to Homeland Security which in turn sends it on to US Customs and Immigration authorities who meet the ship and provide a list of all felons, past and current. Buzzers go off when you surrender your cruise card during debarkation at the gangway and you are given quite a going over. I should know, I am a convicted felon (guess why ?! LOL) and I've been on 125 cruises.
Get ok from your probation officer in writing, only way to go.
PS Even if not felon, I would not chance it without ok in writing!
Do you like probation? Cause if you get caught you can plan on maybe jail and atleast double the length of the prob term you got. Is that worth it? Apply to go and they might let you. i went on vacation on prob. i just had to get approval.
