CUSTOMS MONTH?

Read here somewhere that April is intelligence customs month or something of the sort? Originally posted on April Fools Day, took it as a joke, then saw it posted again. Are Dvd's getting stopped internationally? Would anyone care to elaborate, please. Thank you.

no, it would totally destroy the economy if they searched every package. imagine what would happen to businesses. i dont even think they could pull off such a feat. hell, they cant even check all the crates that come into our ports, there could be a nuke in one of them!

I think this is very much true... they dont check every package obviously however they do check more closely!

You chances of a package getting snagged are directly related to how much mail is being shipped at anytime. During Christmas when there is a huge amount of mail being sent you package is much less likely to be snagged. But in the summer months when people send less mail you have a greater chance of you package being snagged. The odds are still well in your favor but just a little less so. This is at least what I have noticed in the past. If I had to pick the worst month to ship I would pick August.

i've heard and read this to be true too. But again, no one can check everything. I would just wait till next month to order, this isn't to say nothing will get through. Or of course it could all be scare tactics!

i didn't think it was EMS in itself, just shipping/customs in general... seems there's a 'month' or 'day' for just about anything these days, lol

i usually stock up right before xmas is here . as in my mind it just makes sence to stock up at that time as somuch would be commin thru you have a better chance of it not being looked at.
that thats what i do.
dish out the extra $ and get what you need for the year or 2, then.
