Cycle Routine Advice to Bring up Lagging Arms

What split would you guys recommend if your going to hit arms twice a week something like

Day1 arms
day 2 legs
day 3 chest
day 4 off
day 5 arms
day 6 back
day 7 off

Do any of you run something like that or do you feel having arms and back so close could be overdoing it?

Legs
Arms/calves
Off
Repeat
 
switch tuesdays workout for wednesdays... then just start the cycle over again on friday... adjust volume so u can progress in weight, reps, sets, TUT, or whatever it is that u beleive in progressing on... that way you will start to hit muscles 2x every 4 days or so...

im sure you dont just dilly dally in the past w your arms, so thinking somehow you will "concentrate" on them and they will grow 2"s and the rest of your body will stay tha same, i just dont see happening... your whole body will grow as one and if your back chest overpower ur arms, well, they still probably will when ur 15lbs heavier in my experiences.... i see it this way bc i figure that everyone trains balls 2 da wallz on every muscle anyways, so how much MORE can you concentrate on?

my delts, calves, and bis hav been my weakest points since i started at 160lbs... they are defientley bigger now but still in the same proportions no matter how much ive "concentrated" on them... i know they are my weak points and go 110% on them, but they will never somehow surpass my genetic "good parts" that i train 110% as hard as possible as well...

Sorry for the late reply guys....was on my first trip in 5 yrs. Anyways...i havent really done a bulk cycle in probably close to 2 yrs and I start tomorrow so im very psyched. Ive been 100% clean for the last 3.5 months since my last contest ..longest ive been off in 5 yrs, I think I really needed it. And over the years getting larger Ive noticed the body definately does grow as a whole, when training balls to the wall. I think the best thing is to train arms twice a week and train everything else intensely once a week (delts will get hit twice kinda since they get some work in during chest workouts). Im 32...I used to workout 5 days a week in my early 20s but I noticed as I got a little older I respond better to 4 day a week workouts...so I think the major thing, as opposed to changing the routine, will be using different exercises that im not accustomed to, as well as more volume+intensity+calories that are always part of bulking. I normally like doing 1 week lower intensity, more volume (supersets, giant sets, drop sets etc)...then next week higher intensity, less volume (more compound/strength movements)...I seem to respond the best that way usually.

Hmmm...I dont see any shoulders in there. :naughty:

What about something like this? I usually seem to recover after 48 hours from calves, probably because we walk on them all the time...same with smaller body groups such as arms/shoulders...larger muscle groups I usually like to give 5+ days before hitting them again. let me know what u guys think of the below routine. :)


Mon: Arms/Calves
Tues: Legs
Wed: Shoulders/Calves
Thurs: Off (just cardio)
Fri: arms/shoulders+Calves
Sat: Off (just cardio)
Sunday: Completely off
 
Back, some biceps (mostly hummer grip)
Chest, some triceps and biceps (mostly cables)
Legs
Shoulders
Biceps and triceps
Chest or back (mostly stretching exercises - pullovers, flies, puldowns focusng on strectch etc)
off

This is what has helped me to bring my arms, alot only in 4-5 weeks. I am sure I haven't got lots of muscle gains but my arms are looking differently - bigger, rounder, fuller already.
 
had lagging bi's forearms as well

bought light 35lb dumb bell and curled everynight b4 bed

kept pushing myself with same weight started with 3 sets of 20
worked up to 4 sets of 30
also kept 1 day/week of heavy arm training in routine

arms exploded in 6 weeks now one of my best muscles
as far as aas goes nothing grows like test deca dbol - thats what i was using

delts are one of strongest muscles but im sure similar concept with lateral raises would work just as well

hmmm, every night eh? interesting. 35lbs for 30 reps is pretty damn good! I couldn't do that, I don't think. I'll try it tonight. but I'm not very strong compared to most guys on here either. I tend to find my muscles failing in lower rep ranges, like below 10, no matter the weight, unless its really light.

Nycjuice is exactly right, it goes for any body part. If you need to bring up a body part just do 3 sets everyday on top of your normal routine. When you start to lose strength or you stagnate then stop hitting it everyday until you recover usually takes about 2-3 weeks for me before I need to back off..
