cytraden is it of any use....

Hey ProMuscle,

Got a question for all the guru's on the board...What do you think of Cytraden (sp?) for pre-contest the last few weeks before the show...I have heard good and bad about it...Never have used it, but was wondering if it would be of any help ?

i use it precontest about 2 weeks before a show. its a cortisol blocker therefore if something sets your central nervous system off it blocks the effects of cortisol (i.e. water retention) if you take too much of it you can get really sick!!! be careful and if you are still in the amateur level dont bother taking it.

You actually took it at the level where it blocks cortisol? How many tabs a day?

Cytadren is an INCREDIBLE drug while dieting. I take 1/4 tab 2x a day & it helps lower CNS over training, keeps the edema levels in check & makes you harder in the process. Love the stuff!!!

take about 125 mg which is half a tab 2x/day!!!

so 1/2 tab (125mg) 2x a day is good for the last 2 weeks or so...Is it like an anti-e then ? If it is would you still use other anti-e's with it ?

it's not an anti-e but its an ancillary to help with water retention due to blocking the rise of cortisol concentration. i still take nov, proviron and a-dex to cover all my bases.

i usually run 40 mg of nov split into 3 doses, 100mg of proviron split in am and pm dose, 1 mg eod of a-dex, and cytraden 125mg am and pm dose. hope it helps!!!!!
